HABITAT STEM/SPAR
With our saws, we can mimic habitat by creating cavities and natural looking tears. Leaving a spar instead of a full removal creates a home for birds, fungi, and animals, while saving you the cost of hauling that log away.

OUR VISION
Canopy Climbers grew through a natural progression of two people who are passionate about trees... and climbing. Partners Alison and Walter are both rock climbers turned arborists, who are lucky enough to have found a profession which is so similar to the hobby they love.
In the industry of arboriculture there is a lot of waste, both with the equipment we need to use and with the bio-waste that comes from pruning or removing a tree. At Canopy Climbers we strive to be low-impact: much of the log we remove go towards firewood, chips get utilized by local farms and parks, and we are currently running several battery powered saws. This reduces our emissions, and since the saws are virtually silent, they create very little disturbance to our customers!
Wood is also a valuable resource and we like to see it go to good use. We are always willing to cut logs to firewood size for customers. Logs also make great plant stands, benches, tabletops, mushroom growing, etc. Additionally, we encourage customers to get creative; talk with us about cutting branches to size for your seasonal decorations and craft projects!
